Matcha Energy Balls
Some days call for something small. Not a full meal, not another coffee - just a bite that keeps you going.
These matcha energy balls are one of our go-to snacks during busy workdays, travel days or right before a workout. They’re easy to make, naturally sweet thanks to dates, and powered by matcha for a more stable kind of energy.
No baking, no complicated steps. Just a few ingredients and a food processor.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon ASA Matcha Culinary grade
- 150 g dates (pitted)
- 80g oats
- 2 tablespoons nut butter (almond butter, peanut butter)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- A pinch of salt
- White chocolate
Optional: cacao nibs or coconut flakes
How to make them:
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor
2. Blend until the mixture becomes sticky and well combined
3. Roll into small, bite-sized balls
4. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before eating
5. In the inbetween time melt white chocolate and mix with matcha. Get the balls out of the fridge and cover them with the chocolate/matcha mix.
6. Again in the fridge for 30 mins and ready to eat
Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Enjoy!
